Fans are known for being a little too excitable when they come face-to-face with their celebrity idols.
Megan Fox experienced this the hard way when she got caught in a scuffle between her security and a member of the public.
Fox was at the Orange County fair with her hubby Machine Gun Kelly when the encounter occurred.

The couple were stepping off a ride when a man took a swing at MGK, prompting their security guy to leap into action.
In the ensuing case, the Jennifer's Body actress ended getting shoved into the barricade next to the ride's entrance.
Fortunately, her husband was on hand to pull her out of the bust-up and they made a swift retreat.
Some have taken their attendance at the fair as a sign that the two are still together after rumours of a split circulated earlier this year.

The first signs that something might not be right with the couple came after Fox deleted photos of them together from her socials.
She also made a cryptic post featuring lyrics from a Beyoncé song about the allegations that Jay-Z cheated on her, and at the end of it there was a letter burning in a firepit.
So those were pretty big signs.

But then MGK shared a snapshot of his wife's Sports Illustrated cover which featured her on the beach in a soaking wet bikini.
This is apparently how celebrities signal their relationship status to their fans in 2023.
Recent months have also seen Fox hit with accusations that she forced her sons to wear girls clothes.

The 37-year-old hit back at these claims, telling the GOP politician who made them, 'You f**ked with the wrong witch'.
She went on to say: "Irregardless [sic] of how desperate you may become at any given time to acquire wealth, power, success, or fame - never use children as leverage or social currency.
"Especially under malevolent and erroneous pretense.
"Exploiting my child’s gender identity to gain attention in your political campaign has put you on the wrong side of the universe.

"I have been burned at the stake by insecure, narcissistic, impotent, little men like you many times and yet i’m still here."
After all this drama, Fox at the very least should be able to enjoy a night at the fairground without somebody trying to bust her husband's chops.
There's always next year.
