Mick Jagger’s girlfriend Melanie Hamrick has issued a five-word response to those who want to negatively comment on the pair’s 44-year age gap.
Former professional ballerina Hamrick, 37, and ‘Satisfaction’ singer Jagger, 81, have been dating since 2014.
It’s well documented that the pair met backstage at a 2014 Rolling Stones show in Tokyo when the dancer was also touring Japan with the American Ballet Theatre.
Despite initially striking up a platonic relationship, the music industry veteran and Hamrick later began dating before welcoming their only son Deveraux ‘Devi’ Octavian Basil Jagger in 2016.

While seven-year-old Deveraux is the choreographer’s first child, he is the ‘Gimmie Shelter’ hitmaker’s eighth.
His siblings include Karis, 53, Jade, 52, Elizabeth, 40, James, 39, Georgia May, 32, Gabriel, 26, and Lucas, 25.
Last year, the couple sparked engagement rumours when Hamrick was spotted out sporting what was reported to be a promise ring.
“I mean, I have to giggle because did Mick give me the ring? Yes. Is it for that finger? Yes,” she coyly told People last June.

“But are we like, horny teenagers where we’re giving each other… In my mind, it’s a promise ring. We’ll be immature and call it a promise ring,” Hamrick added.
In a new interview, the Virginia native has discussed how she feels about her and her boyfriend’s age difference as well as revealing she wasn’t starstruck at all when they first met.
“Ballet dancers meet some of the biggest stars and act, like, ‘Who are you?’ Because, to us, ballet dancers are the gods.

“That’s who you study and look up to. You’re so in your world,” she told The Sunday Times.
When asked about how it feels to be 44 years younger than Jagger, Hamrick claimed: “I don’t think about it.
“Everyone’s going to have their opinion. If you think about others’ opinions, no matter where you are in life, you’re going to have a problem and you’re going to analyze it.”
“I put the blinders on. Am I happy? Yes. Are the people in my life happy? Yes. Am I hurting anyone? No. OK, they can mind their own business.”
