Sources familiar with Miley Cyrus' family have claimed dad Billy Ray Cyrus has attempted to reach out to his daughter amid an alleged dispute.
Speculation about family drama within the Cyrus family has been going on for some time now, with many fans pointing to clues in photos and comments to try and get a better insight into a potential feud.
When Miley won her first Grammy Award earlier this month, she thanked her mom and her sister before saying: "I don't think I forgot anyone."
But after years of watching Miley share a screen with her dad Billy Ray on Hannah Montana, many fans wondered if she'd purposefully forgotten to shoutout her dad.

The apparent snub came after fans noticed that only Miley and her sisters Trace and Brandi were in attendance at her mom's wedding to her new partner, with her sister Noah and brother Braison nowhere to be seen.
A source close to the family spoke to Us Weekly about the alleged feud, claiming 'the kids have chosen sides' following the breakdown of Billy Ray's relationship with the kids' mom Tish.
Speaking of the father, the source said: "He’s tried reaching out to Miley many times and congratulated her on her Grammys.

"Friends are hoping the rift doesn’t last forever."
Though Miley and Billy Ray presented as being extremely close in the past, the source claimed the father and daughter are 'on the outs'.
“Miley’s very close with her mom and is standing by her," they said.
Meanwhile Noah, who is now 24 years old, is said to have 'always been close with Billy Ray'.

"It’s caused a rift between her and Miley," the source said.
Miley's mom, Tish Cyrus, filed for divorce in 2022, with the source claiming there was 'nothing left to say' between the couple and that they were not on speaking terms.
Tish went on to marry Prison Break star Dominic Purcell, while Billy Ray married his partner, Firerose, in October 2023.

A second insider told the publication the new additions to the family have created 'even more division', though they insisted Noah and Braison were both invited to Tish's wedding, despite not being in attendance.
Earlier this month, Tish appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast where she said she didn't realize 'how much disrespect there was in [her] marriage' before she struck up a new relationship.
Tish added that the 'disrespect' came on 'both [their] parts'.
