KT Smith has spoken out about her ex Morgan Wallen after his arrest in Nashville.
Smith decided to make a public statement to address recent speculation that her marriage was connected to the singer's outburst.
Wallen, 30, was arrested for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct while out in Nashville on Sunday (April 7).

During the incident, he allegedly threw a chair from a six-storey building, which was said to have landed on the ground near two Metro Nashville Police Officers.
Following the incident, a source claimed that Wallen's behavior had been a result of discovering that his ex KT Smith had married her partner Luke Scornavacco.
Wallen and Smith got engaged after just a few months of dating in 2016. Though they later called off their engagement, the former couple were on and off until 2019 and welcomed their son, Indigo, in 2020.

In March this year, Smith announced her engagement to Scornavacco in a post on social media.
Along with pictures of the proposal, she wrote on Instagram: "Why save the good things for later."
Speaking to the Daily Mail, the unnamed source claimed: "KT's marriage to Luke last week just crushed him.
"Of course he knew they were engaged and eventually going to get married - but eloping just days after they got engaged? Morgan has never gotten over her even though he couldn't stay faithful to her. And now another man is going to be raising his son."

But Smith has refuted these claims, saying that she has 'no evidence' that Wallen's outburst is connected to her elopement.
She told the Daily Beast: "Although it may seem like it correlates because of the timeline. I have no evidence to believe the incident had anything to do with the recent marriage announcement."
Smith added: "I cannot speak on Morgan’s behalf, but I do pray the very best for him. Praying that this was just a slip up and that he will return to the good path that he was on prior."

Police claim to have seen a video of the incident in which Wallen could allegedly be seen 'lunging and throwing an object off the roof', according to the singer's arrest report.
Wallen's bond was set at $15,250, and he could be seen being shielded by umbrellas as he was released from Davidson County Jail.
His court date has been set for May 3 - Wallen will already be in Nashville performing over May 2 and May 3.
