The NFL has defended their coverage of Taylor Swift at recent Kansas City Chiefs games after Travis Kelce said they were 'overdoing it a bit'.
Swift, 33, has recently made appearances at 33-year-old Kelce’s last two NFL games, with the first being the 41-10 win over the Chicago Bears on September 24.
At the time, the star was pictured alongside the tight end’s mother, Donna Kelce, and fans were even convinced that she'd secretly left the venue in a popcorn machine.
And last week, Swift attended the Chiefs’ 23-20 victory at the MetLife Stadium - the home turf of the New York Jets.

During the match, NBS frequently cut to Swift and her celebrity pals Sophie Turner, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, to catch their reactions.
In one instance, cameras caught Swift reportedly saying a 'flirty comment' to Blake Lively about Kelce - who she is rumoured to be dating.
Elsewhere, the NFL has also posted about the ‘Midnights’ singer on their social media pages.
At one point, they changed their Instagram bio to read: “The @Chiefs are now 2-0 with @TaylorSwift13 in attendance.”

However, the wall-to-wall coverage of Swift being at the NFL games has not pleased some sports fans.
A video of Seattle Seahawks and New York Giants fans ‘booing’ an advert for the upcoming Eras Tour film recently went viral, and Kelce himself has recently spoken out about the constant coverage.
Taking to his New Heights podcast with his brother, Philadelphia Eagle's center Jason Kelce, he said: "I think it's fun when they show who all is at the game. I think it brings a little bit more to the atmosphere, brings a little bit more to what you're watching.”

Jason replied: “They're overdoing it,” to which Travis agreed: “They're overdoing it a little bit for sure. Especially my situation.
"[But] I think they’re just trying to have fun with it.”
The NFL has since responded to Kelce’s comments and issued a statement via PEOPLE on Wednesday (4 October).

The statement read: "We frequently change our bios and profile imagery based on what’s happening in and around our games, as well as culturally.
“The Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce news has been a pop cultural moment we’ve leaned into in real time, as it’s an intersection of sport and entertainment, and we’ve seen an incredible amount of positivity around the sport.
“The vast majority of our content has remained focused on the game, our players and variety of other initiatives, including our Toy Story Funday Football alt-cast, the international games and more," it concluded.
