North West announces her debut album 'Elementary School Dropout' live on stage

North West announces her debut album 'Elementary School Dropout' live on stage

North West joined her dad up on stage at a listening party in Paris.

People are saying the same thing on social media after North West announced the title of her debut album.

Kanye West - who now goes by Ye - took to the stage at the Vultures listening party in Paris at the end of last month and who should he bring up on stage to perform with him?

None other than his eldest daughter, North West.

However, as well as performing part of one of her dad's songs, the 10-year-old had a special announcement for the crowd.

On 25 February, North - who's mom is Kim Kardashian - joined her dad on stage to perform in a song which features on his studio album titled Vultures 1.

The song, 'Talking,' was released earlier this year by Ye and Ty Dollar $ign - under the joint name ¥$ - and saw North make her rapping debut.

In Paris, she performed her verse in the song, rapping: "It's your bestie, Miss Miss Westie / Don't try to test me / It's gonna get messy."

However, as impressive as it was for North to feature in a song which hit the Billboard Hot 100 at spot number 30 and saw her become one of the youngest acts to ever make the charts - and for fans of the song to see her perform live - there's one moment from her performance which people can't stop talking about online.

During her appearance in Paris, North also announced she's been working on an album of her own.

In a video from the listening concert posted to TikTok by Pop Base, North can be heard telling the crowd: "I've been working on an album and it's called Elementary School Dropout."

After dropping that news, she quickly ran off the stage and while her announcement received raucous applause and cheers from the live audience, people over on social media have another thing to say about it all.

Taking to X, many social media users had the same response to North's upcoming album title.

One user said: "Does Kim know about this?"

"Kim finding out the same time we are," another said, while a third added: "What's Kim going to do?"

And others were quick to express concern about North's education.

"I’m praying she didn’t actually drop out of elementary school," a user wrote.

However, another user n§oted: "Even if she did , I'm sure home schooling is an option."

"It’s a play on Kanye’s album college dropout," a third added.

And a final resolved: "That would be illegal, chiii."
