Olivia Rodrigo reveals the ‘oddly specific’ question she asks on first date that shows a red flag

The songstress made a strange admission and I don't think Elon Musk, SpaceX or NASA astronauts will be best pleased

Ahhh first dates, the most daunting, nerve-wracking yet exciting experiences on the planet.

Personally, I was never any good at them, I'd intentionally try not to speak to my date prior to the meeting them just because I thought I'd be wasting conversations and questions that could have been used to fill in the awkward silences.

I was so bad that I ended up dating my best friend, who's a girl, and almost seven years later we're engaged and have a toddler - so it worked out alright for me.

Well, Olivia Rodrigo has revealed one 'oddly specific' question she tends to ask on a first date and if they respond 'yes' to it, she won't see them again. As if dating a celebrity wasn't intimidating enough!

The 21-year-old sat down with Netflix to discuss her favorite tank tops that she wore on her recent 'GUTS World Tour'.

While discussing one that had the words 'dump him' on it - in which she paid homage to 'Miss Britney Spears', she was then asked what her 'biggest red flag' is when it comes to dating.

In response, the Californian replied: "This is a very oddly specific question that I ask guys on first dates, I always ask them if they think that they would want to go to space."

Well, I don't think that's too odd, it's a fun question to ask on a first date to get to know the person you're talking to a little more.

Rodrigo continued: "And if they say yes I don't date them - I just think if you want to go to space you're a little too full of yourself because I think it's just weird."

Okay what? Has the 'deja vu' singer really just come at astronauts - NASA are we okay with this?

I'm not sure Neil Armstrong would be too happy with that comment, or even Elon Musk and his SpaceX cronies.

If I was offered the chance to fly up to the International Space Station and stay there for a day or two before returning I would definitely say yes - a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to view our Earth from outside it!

Anyway, if you're planning on dating the songstress, make sure to let her know you aren't a fan of space and big-headed astronauts!

Rodrigo also let us into her personal life a little as she explained that she is trying to get better at cooking, as she spoke about her tank top that read 'I kiss better than I cook'.

"It's true I am a good kisser, I'm working on being a better cook though - actively working on that one so I'll let you know," she added.

Would you fly to space if given the chance?
