Pamela Anderson looks a little different these days.
The Baywatch star is embracing a more stripped-back, natural look than the heavily made-up look that she was known for at the height of her career.
Speaking to ELLE, the 56-year-old said she's found the decision to wear little to no makeup 'freeing, and fun, and a little rebellious too'.

"Because I did notice that there were all these people doing big makeup looks, and it’s just like me to go against the grain and do the opposite what everyone’s doing," she told the publication.
She continued: “I think we all start looking a little funny when we get older. And I’m kind of laughing at myself when I look at the mirror.
"I go, ‘Wow, this is really...what’s happening to me?’ It’s a journey.

“I feel rooted for. I feel good. I’m in a good place.”
The actor made the decision to stop wearing makeup after her makeup artist, Alexis Vogel, died from breast cancer.
“She was the best. And since then, I just felt, without Alexis, it’s just better for me not to wear makeup," she said.
In February of this year, Anderson appeared on the cover of WWD makeup free.

“I’d rather show my freckles. It’s fun getting old. It’s a relief. At a certain age we look younger and fresher without makeup. This is me — I’m happy with who I am right now," she wrote on Instagram at the time.
She continued. "It’s a new world and I’m very grateful for all of the love.”
In an interview with Dax Shepherd's Armchair Expert podcast, she also said she couldn't wait to see herself get old.
“I always said I’d recognise myself when I was old in the mirror. I don’t want to chase [ageing] and I don’t want to do all the crazy s**t to myself,” she said.

She continued: “I want to let my hair go kind of natural grey, put my little straw hat on, don’t wear makeup... I mean, that’s my comfortable kind of state.”
“When I was wearing makeup before, everyone told me not to wear makeup. Now I’m old and kind of just want to let it happen.”
In the interview with ELLE, Anderson said she feels more at home in her garden in Canada than on a TV set or at a photoshoot now.

“I’ve got my gardening hat on, my gardening gloves, my little jeans rolled up, I’ve got my whole look," she said.
