Drew Barrymore has been applauded for going makeup and hair extension-less on TV.
Barrymore hosts her own chat show, The Drew Barrymore Show, and often has celebrity guests join her to chat about anything and everything. And this week, she had the one and only Pamela Anderson join her.
Of late, the Bay Watch star has become a somewhat beauty icon after ditching her usual glam for a more natural look.

She first debuted her makeup-free face at 2023's Paris Fashion Week and made headlines across the globe.
Anderson has since shared why she decided to go for a more natural look in lieu of cosmetics like foundation and mascara.
"That was the beginning of me letting go of the image I had always had of myself," Anderson told Better Homes & Gardens magazine earlier this year.

"What is this cartoon character that I’d created? OK, that was fun. But I’m not that person anymore."
Now, Barrymore has taken a leaf out of Anderson's book and also ditched the makeup on today's The Drew Barrymore Show episode (October 22).
Anderson was on the show to promote her new skincare brand Sonsie, with all of the show's audience members receiving a Multi Moisture Mask.
Barrymore's other guests - Gillian Anderson, Gayle King and Valerie Bertinelli - also followed suit.
As well as makeup, Barrymore removed her hair extensions are she opened up about experiencing perimenopause and hair loss.

Elsewhere, the Scream star admitted that she felt a bit self conscious when catching a glimpse of herself in the monitor and noticed that she was adjusting how she looked more than usual as she proceeded to ask Gillian Anderson how she felt being bare faced.
"I am hiding behind my glasses a little bit," The Fall actress replied. "I often don't wear makeup when I'm doing my TikTok posts and stuff, but what I am very aware of is the lighting [in the studio]."
Echoing similar sentiments, King added: "I don't have hang-ups about taking pictures of myself without makeup, but it is different when you're on national TV."

All of the women have been praised for opting to ditch the makeup for the show.
"I think it's cool that they're starting to normalize women's natural beauty," one person wrote on Instagram.
Someone else gushed: "They all look just absolutely beautiful! More of this please!"
"You all and all other women are naturally beautiful without makeup," wrote a third. "You're great and natural characters make you even prettier on the outside."
