People are flooding to social media astounded by Paris Hilton's fashion week runway walk.
As 'a new genre of celebrity', Paris Hilton has multiple strings to her bow, from socialite, to TV personality, musician and businesswoman. The 42-year-old is also no stranger to the runway and made her Spring/Summer 2024 runway debut yesterday (2 October) in the Mugler show at Paris Fashion Week.
While she looked great, unfortunately people couldn't help but take to social media to comment on her rather unusual walk.

Prepare to be reminded of the last time you staggered to a chicken shop after a particularly heavy night out:
The 42-year-old socialite-turned-businesswoman strut her stuff in a black ensemble, made up of a long-sleeved, corset-style mini dress and black heels.
Hilton's hair was slicked back in a low bun and she was carrying a black handbag too.

In videos of the show shared online, Hilton can be seen pouting and nodding her head up and down slightly, jauntily making her way down the aisle, flashes of cameras and captivated, staring faces all around her at her as she keeps her gaze firmly focused forwards.
British Vogue shared a video to Instagram of Hilton beginning her walk down the runway.
The caption reads: "That’s hot! It’s a #ParisHilton takeover at #ParisFashionWeek, where she made her SS24 runway debut walking in the @MuglerOfficial show."

However, sadly not everyone agrees with just how 'hot' Hilton's takeover was.
Flooding to the post to weigh in on Hilton's SS24 debut, many users couldn't help but focus on her runway strut.
One Instagram user said: "I walk like that when I’m drunk but trying to prove I’m not."

Another added: "What the heck is that chicken walk all about?!"
A third commented: "My gosh. Paris Honey, I love you, BUT YOUR WALK IS HORRIBLE."
And a fourth even said: "Worst walk in the history of fashion."

However, others stuck up for Hilton, with one user noting: "She’s going her walk. She’s been doing it since the ‘90’s and she’s never going to try to walk like a catwalk model because she is Paris Hilton."
And a final theorized: "Pretty sure the walk is related to her outfit, she is no human but kinda robot… this is genius."
Hilton isn't the only celebrity to have their walk critiqued on social media.
Model Kendall Jenner also received an onslaught of comments from cringed-out fans after she was spotted walking down the runway in the closing look for Schiaparelli's SS24 collection by designer Daniel Roseberry.
UNILAD has contacted Paris Hilton's representatives for comment.
