Pink had the perfect comeback after an online critic made an ageist comment about her

Pink had the perfect comeback when an online critic said that she looked 'old'.

The musician, whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore, is known for her frankness - as well as her absolute tunes - and didn't hold back about her feelings on aging when the troll posted the completely uncalled-for message.

It came after Pink shared a video montage on social media of her tour in North America last year.

Rather than focussing on the music and choreography, the critic honed in on the singer's age, remarking: "Pink got old."

The comment was spotted by the Pink herself, who decided to deliver a withering reply.

And not only did she put the troll firmly in their place, but also gave a rather helpful and thoughtful worldview.

The star - who is 44 years old - started by acknowledging that yes, she has 'got old', writing: "Yes, although I don’t feel old, and I still get to wear a leotard to work, growing older is actually my first 'grateful' every day."

Pink then pointed out that actually, getting old is a good thing, adding: "What a blessing to have life, years. To be this strong, to be able.

"To still p**s off complete strangers just by existing. F**k yeah times 44!"

It's not the first time that the 'So What' hitmaker has left no crumbs when responding to a troll commenting on her age.

In 2018, one wrote: “Wow Pink looks so old that [she] should be named Purple instead.”

Pink hit back: "You must be from LA. Well, there are a few people left in the world that choose to age naturally. And I’ve earned every f**king minute of my 38 years."

She added: "How you lookin though? Cause I never heard of ya til you put my name in your mouth. I shall call you little purple troll."

Pink went on to explain that aging is a good thing, actually.

She wrote: “I am of the mindset that it’s a blessing to grow old. That if your face has lines around your eyes and mouth it means you’ve laughed a lot. I pray I look older in 10 years, cause that will mean I’m alive.”

Many of us might feel anxious about getting older, but as Pink pointed out when you think about getting older is actually a privilege.

There are many people out there who don't get the chance to grow old, and when you consider the alternative maybe aging isn't so bad after all.
