Sabrina Carpenter has found herself unintentionally entertaining fans thanks to awkward interaction she had with rapper Central Cee at Paris Fashion Week.
Carpenter went viral this week after footage was shared online from the glitzy event, where Louis Vuitton debuted its spring-summer 2025 menswear collection.
The singer had a front-row seat at the fashion show alongside Central Cee, whose real name is Oakley Neil Caesar-Su, so she made sure to introduce herself before the event kicked off.

In the footage, Carpenter could be seen milling about with a few bystanders, dressed in a shirt and tie with a fashionable white blazer over the top.
As she prepared to take her seat she turned to Cee to say hello, but openly admitted that doing so hadn't been entirely her own decision.
She waved and put her arm out to embrace the rapper in a friendly hug, saying: "Hi, I'm Sabrina."

A pretty normal introduction so far, but the singer then added: "Barry told me I have to say hi to you."
Hearing someone say they were 'told' to speak to you isn't exactly the most comforting, but I suppose it's better than being ignored altogether?
Carpenter was referring to actor Barry Keoghan, who she's been romantically linked to since December 2023.
Central Cee at least seemed to take the comment well as he smiled at Carpenter and the pair continued chatting politely, but the entire scene has left fans in hysterics.

"Why would she say that omfg," one post on X read after the video was shared online.
Another viewer commented: "I swear she doesn’t even have to try to be funny. she just naturally is."
Though the initial encounter seemed undeniably uncomfortable, it seems Carpenter and Cee actually ended up getting on as another video from the fashion show showed Carpenter playing with the rapper's Nintendo DS.

Yes, he took a Nintendo DS to Paris Fashion Week.
Cee whipped out the device ahead of the show and began playing, before Carpenter later took a turn for herself.
Fans have been left desperate to know what game the two stars were playing while waiting for the show to get underway, with others have praised Carpenter for being 'so real' and 'unserious'.

Though Carpenter has been linked to Keoghan for months, she's previously made clear that she prefers to keep her personal relationships to herself.
When asked by Rolling Stone if Keoghan was her boyfriend, Carpenter responded: “How do I skirt around this question?”
Maybe she could have distracted them with a Nintendo DS?
