Rachel Zegler has been met with more criticism about her role as Snow White.
Disney fans have long been waiting for the remake as plans for the new adaption of 1937's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs were confirmed back in October 2016.
Zegler was then tied to the movie in 2021, with Snow White scheduled to hit cinemas worldwide in March 2025 - a year later than initially planned.
Zegler has unfortunately been faced with a lot of backlash online after being cast as the well-loved Disney princess as the original Snow White was a white character, while West Side Story star Zegler is of Colombian and Polish heritage.

And she's still receiving criticism now.
In recent days, one person commented on one of her Instagram photos of her posing next to a Snow White statue: "I love you so much reachel but i don’t think that you’re as white as 'snow' [sic]."
But the 23-year-old actor came back with the perfect response.

Zegler replied: "In the original fairytale she was named after a snowstorm that took place when she was born, which she was strong enough to survive, even as an infant."
The comment has since been liked almost 5,000 times and her fans have quickly rushed to her defense in the wake of the online troll's unwarranted remark.
One person gushed: "Rachel Zegler, if you see my comment, I tell you that you are the perfect choice for Snow White, you are beautiful, I can't imagine a Snow White more beautiful than you, I loved your work in Shazam."

"I loved you on Shazam and Hunger Games and I can’t wait to see more of your talent," echoed another Instagram user.
A different person penned: "Snow White has always been my favorite since i was a little girl. You playing snow makes it so much more special to me."
Zegler isn't a stranger to controversy when it comes to the upcoming movie as some of her comments about the original film weren't well met by everyone.

"The original cartoon came out in 1937, and very evidently so. There's a big focus on her love story with a guy who literally stalks her. Weird! Weird! So we didn't do that this time," Zegler said.
One critic said of her 2023 comments: "Thinking that a woman is any less valuable because she falls in love or because she accepts help from somebody instead of girl-bossing her way through her problems is not feminist."
