Robert De Niro's grandson's cause of death has been determined.
As reported by CNN, the New York City Medical Examiner’s Office has ruled Leandro De Niro-Rodriguez's death was the result of a toxic combination of fentanyl, bromazolam, alprazolam, 7-aminoclonazepam, ketamine, and cocaine.
The 19-year-old's death has been ruled an accident.

In early July, the NYPD said officers found De Niro-Rodriguez unconscious when responding to a 9-1-1 call to Wall Street in lower Manhattan.
The teenager was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to CNN, a woman named Sofia Marks was taken into custody on a charge of selling drugs to a minor in July. She has not been charged with murder.
Robert De Niro released a statement about his grandson's death at the time.

The statement read: “I'm deeply distressed by the passing of my beloved grandson Leo. We're greatly appreciative of the condolences from everyone. We ask that we please be given privacy to grieve our loss of Leo.”
His daughter, actor Drena De Niro, also wrote about the loss of her son on Instagram.
“You have been my joy, my heart and all that was ever pure and real in my life,” the caption began.
She continued: “I don’t know how to live without you but I’ll try to go on and spread the love and light that you so made me feel in getting to be your mama.

"You were so deeply loved and appreciated and I wish that love alone could have saved you.”
She later responded to a comment when someone ask how her son died.
“Someone sold him fentanyl laced pills that they knew were laced yet still sold them to him so for all these people still f**king around selling and buying this sh*t, my son is gone forever,” she wrote.
After his cause of death was revealed this week, Drena De Niro wrote a lengthy post on Instagram in which she said her son was not forewarned that he would be taking a 'fentanyl lace substance'.
"He was warned to 'not take too many' of the counterfeit pills he was being sold and to 'be careful with these' but this is very different than warning that a substance is in fact lethal or better yet not selling it at all," she wrote.

She continued: "My son suffered tremendously through the pandemic as maybe many of your kids had but sadly addiction took over in the last year and eventually killed him."
Before his death, De Niro-Rodriguez starred in The Collection, Cabaret Maxime and A Star Is Born.
