Hollywood is full of connections across families.
Whether it be the newest nepo baby who insists they got to where they are 100% on merit (whilst their Dad is a megastar director) or celebrities having random connections to others you’d never expect, it’s all over Hollywood.
That is the case for the newest pop star sensation, Sabrina Carpenter.

The Please Please Please singer first rose to prominence for starring in Girl Meets World on the Disney channel, before later becoming embroiled in a feud with Olivia Rodrigo – who wrote many of the songs on her debut album Sour about Carpenter.
Don’t worry, they’ve since made up.
Rolling Stone have dubbed this summer the ‘Summer of Sabrina Carpenter’, and with her holding the number one and two spot on the billboard charts for three successive weeks, it’s hard to argue. Although I will because it’s a Brat summer if you ask me.

Whilst they are both performers, neither of her parents ever attained levels comparable to where Carpenter is at now, so you can’t call her a nepo baby.
Who she is linked to though, is The Simpsons' Bart Simpson voice actress, Nancy Cartwright, who has been voicing the iconic young boy for over 35 years.
Cartwright answered a fan question on TikTok, asking if she was in fact the aunt of the Nonsense singer.

She said: “Yeah, absolutely! Isn’t that amazing? Maybe you’ve known me for a little while, doing this little 10-year-old boy for 35 some year, and some of you guys for way less than that, and find out that I’m related to this superstar.
“She’s pretty amazing.”
She posted it with the caption “The rumors are true! Sabrina Carpenter is my niece!”
Fans in the comments were, it’s fair to say, shocked.

One said: “Sabrina Carpenter is related to Bart Simpson, Ay, caramba!”
Another commented: “But why does Sabrina being related to Bart Simpson makes so much sense??? It really is a family attitude.”
Someone also said: “Can we hear Bart sing espresso?! PLEASEEEEE”.

Some fans though pointed to the fact that, whilst Carpenter is an undeniable smash success, Cartwright seemed to be downplaying her own iconic status.
One comment said: “Dude. YOU are a superstar. The voice of my generation.”
Not only is Cartwright the iconic voice of Bart, but she also plays multiple other characters on the show, such as Ralph Wiggum, Nelson Muntz, and Maggie Simpson.
Add to that her playing Rufus in Kim Possible and Chuckie in Rugrats, and she really was the voice of our childhood’s.
