Scarlett Johansson has one rule that she wants her fans to follow when it comes to approaching her for photographs.
Should you ever bump into an A-list celebrity like Johansson, there's a good chance you'll want a picture with them to commemorate the moment.
But there's a time and a place for such photos — i.e if you spot your movie hero in the bathroom, maybe don't rush up to them immediately.

And Johansson has a similar kind of rule when it comes to her taking selfies with fans, and apparently it leaves some of them 'offended'.
Discussing being famous, the Marriage Story star told InStyle: "The thing about being a public figure is that the idea of being recognizable and celebrated feels fun, but then you can never stuff it back in the bottle.
"The reality of it is, there’s a massive loss to that, you know?"

With this in mind, Johnasson isn't always willing to pose for photos with fans and limits her interactions with them for when she's attending an event (rather than when she's hitting up Bed Bath & Beyond on a Saturday afternoon).
Speaking on her one rule, Johansson revealed: "It really offends a lot of people. It doesn't mean I'm not appreciative, of course, that people are fans, or happy to see me.
"But I always say to people, ‘I'm not working.’ [And that means] I don't want to be identified as being in this time and place with you. I'm doing my own thing."
Totally fair, if you ask me.

The Marvel actress' interview comes after she and her husband, Saturday Night Live star Colin Jost, went viral back in December.
Jost hosts SNL's 'Weekend Update' alongside Michael Che and the comedy duo often swap jokes with one another.
And Johansson was the brunt of one of the jokes that was said. She was on hand to react to the NSFW comment — and her hilarious reaction was caught on camera.

"I want to dedicate this next joke to my boo, Scarlett Johansson,” Jost said at the time.
Going on to poke fun at their sex life after Johansson welcomed their son, Cosmo, in 2021, Jost continued: "Costco has removed the roast beef sandwich from its menu, but I ain’t tripping. I be eating roast beef every night since my wife had the kid."
The camera then panned to Johansson who was seen mouthing 'oh my god' at the very risqué joke.
