Modern Family star Sofia Vergara has spoken candidly about getting plastic surgery, but revealed there's one procedure she steers clear of.
On her Instagram page, Vergara is regularly flooded with praise about her looks, with comments describing her as 'beautiful', 'stunning', and simply as 'perfection'.
Older images of the star prove she's always been gorgeous, and she's a strong advocate for the use of suncream to help avoid damaging her skin.

“I do think it makes a difference," Vergara said in a new interview with Allure.
"I'm 51, and I can compare myself to my friends that have never [worn sunscreen], and now they're all like, ‘F**k, why didn't we pay attention to you?’”
However, while Vergara considers sunblock part of her regular makeup routine, the actor, who's now 51 years old, has admitted she's also very open to medical procedures designed to maintain good looks.
When discussing treatments involving 'lasers and peels' to try and undo damage to the skin, Vergara made clear that she 'believe[s] in all of that'.

“I feel like you have to take advantage of everything that is out there," she continued. "I mean, if you care about aging. Nothing wrong if you don't care about it. It's not the end of the world. But if you do, now there's so much stuff out there.”
Vergara plans to follow her own advice, as she added: "I feel like I'm going to do every plastic surgery that I can do when I'm ready."
In fact, she admitted she wished she 'had more downtime' during which she could have had certain procedures done already.

"I would've done stuff already," she said. "[But] because I'm in front of the camera, it's not like I can do something and then sit in my house recuperating for weeks.”
Though Vergara is clearly open to options, there's one procedure she believes is best left to younger generations.
She explained: "I've been doing Botox for a long time in my neck, [around] my eyes. I don’t believe in filler."

Vergara went on to express belief that filler 'does good when you're really young and you want a little bit more cheeks or to plump your lips a little bit'.
However, she continued: "At my age—51—I feel it's not going to make you look younger. It is going to make you look more done. And I feel like it actually doesn't pull you up; it kind of weighs [you down]. So I am against that, once you hit a certain age.”
Having been on screen for so many years, Vergara is used to seeing her appearance change over time. She admitted that vast jumps in time on screen can still surprise her, but ultimately she's still happy with the way she looks.
“You can see the age,” she said. “I shouldn't complain because I'm 51 and I'm still healthy, and I'm very active. I still look in the mirror and I see someone beautiful.

"But sometimes it's like, ‘Who are you?’ I'm still happy with what it is. I just learn to accept it's not me. It's a new me.”
