Donald Trump savagely trolls Taylor Swift after she was booed at Super Bowl

Fans think they've worked out the real reason Taylor Swift was booed at the Super Bowl

President Donald Trump has savagely trolled Taylor Swift after the singer was booed during the Super Bowl.

Super Bowl LIX will certainly go down as a classic as the Philadelphia Eagles beat Kansas City Chiefs by 40 to 22 in New Orleans.

Swift was in town cheering on boyfriend Kelce as his team missed out on a third successive Super Bowl triumph.

When the camera panned to Swift and she was subsequently shown on the big screen in the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, a large portion of the 75,000 strong crowd started jeering.

The 'Shake It Off' singer appeared to mouth 'What is going on?' to friend and rapper Ice Spice, who accompanied her to the game.

Trump's recent Truth Social comments should hardly come as a surprise considering the president and the singer have a bit of history.

During his presidential campaign last year, Trump simply wrote: "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!"

His post came after the singer urged her fans to use their vote any way they would like, while also informing them she would be voting for Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
