Sophie Turner has spoken out in gratitude for friend Taylor Swift for her support amid her divorce from Joe Jonas.
In September 2023, the singer filed for divorce from The Game of Thrones actor after four years of marriage and the pair released a joint statement on social media.
However, their separation has ended up becoming increasingly more complicated.
Turner later filed a lawsuit requesting her and Jonas' two children be returned to her care. The lawsuit alleged they'd been 'wrongfully removed or wrongfully detained', claiming it had been agreed they would commit to England as their 'forever home'.

There was also speculation whether or not Turner had been aware a divorce was incoming, however, Jonas' spokesperson later told UNILAD Turner 'was aware' the singer 'was going to file for divorce' and 'the Florida Court has already entered an order that restricts both parents from relocating the children,' the former couple having reportedly met and agreed to 'work together towards an amicable co-parenting setup'.
Turner has since opened up about the time around her and Jonas' split as being the 'worst few days of [her] life' and how she got through them in an interview with British Vogue.
Amid news of the pair's break-up, a source came forward to TMZ claiming Turner 'likes to party, [Jonas] likes to stay at home'.

Turner told Vogue: "I remember I was on set, I was contracted to be on set for another two weeks, so I couldn’t leave. My kids were in the States and I couldn’t get to them because I had to finish Joan. And all these articles started coming out…
"It hurt because I really do completely torture myself over every move I make as a mother - mom guilt is so real! I just kept having to say to myself, 'None of this is true. You are a good mum and you’ve never been a partier'."
Turner explained it was like 'watching a movie' of her life she hadn't written, produced or actually starred in herself.
"It was shocking. I’m still in shock," she added.

Turner reflected: "Taylor was an absolute hero to me this year. I’ve never been more grateful to anyone than I am for her because she took my children and me, and provided us with a home and a safe space. She really has a heart of gold."
