The ex-girlfriend of NFL star Travis Kelce has questioned whether his relationship with Taylor Swift is really 'genuine' amid rumours of a romance between the pair.
Maya Benberry spoke out about her ex-boyfriend after he admitted to inviting Swift to come and watch him play at Arrowhead Stadium in Missouri, where the singer had previously performed on her Eras tour.
Swift was then spotted watching Kelce as he played with his Kansas City Chiefs on 24 September, leaving no doubt in some fans' minds that the pair had struck up a romance.

Kelce has since addressed Swift's appearance at the game, saying on his podcast New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce that she 'looked amazing' and that everyone there had 'great things to say about her'.
However, Kelce's willingness to talk about her appearance and his potential link with the singer has prompted Benberry to have doubts about just how authentic their relationship really is.
Benberry dated Kelce in 2016 after the pair met on Kelce's reality dating show, Catching Kelce. She was chosen out of 50 women from 50 different states, all of who had attempted to win Kelce's affections.

Seven years on, Benberry shared her thoughts on Kelce as a partner in an interview with Inside Edition, in which she claimed he was a 'narcissist'.
"Most narcissists don't change," she added.
Benberry and Kelce dated for eight months before breaking up when Kelce allegedly cheated on her.
With the NFL star now linked to Swift, Benberry said: "The only reason that I question the genuineness of the relationship is because he’s talking to the media a lot."

Her decision to share her thoughts on the romance has not been met favorably by fans of Swift, with Benberry describing the fanbase as 'aggressive', 'negative' and 'hypocritical'.
"It's really crazy to me that someone that I think is positive and really nice has such a negative and angry fanbase," she said. "I don't know Taylor Swift but I'm a fan of her music. I don't feel any way about her dating Travis, it's cute, I mean, I had him first, so..."
Benberry went on to insist she wasn't 'jealous 'or 'bitter' about Swift, adding: "My issue is more with Travis and this sense of, 'now you're trying to turn me into a bitter person, or a liar', like I'm delusional, and I'm the furthest thing from that."

When approached by Inside Edition for comment about the cheating allegations, Kelce didn't respond.
