Travis Kelce has been offered his first major TV acting role, it has been confirmed.
The tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs became the focus of media attention following his relationship with Taylor Swift, and has now been cast in an acting role.
Details about what role Kelce will be playing have not yet been released, but we do know what show he will be acting in.

In a post to Instagram Niecy Nash-Betts confirmed that Kelce would be working with her on the upcoming project.
In addition to Nash-Betts, Kelce will join Courtney B, Vance, and Lesley Manville in an upcoming series on FX.
Details of what characters all of the show's stars, including Kelce, will be playing have not yet been released.

It's the upcoming horror series from Ryan Murphy called Grotesquerie.
Nash-Betts posted to her social media page, telling the camera: “Guys, guess who I am working with in Grotesquerie?”
The camera then pans over to reveal the 6ft 4in Kelce towering over her in the video.

Speaking to the camera, Kelce says: “Stepping into new territory with Niecy.”
Kelce has previously dropped hints about potential acting roles when he hosted Saturday Night Live in March 2023.
He also had a part in the Showtime series Moonbase 8, which stars Fred Armisen, Tim Heidecker, and John C. Reilly.

Fans were delighted by the news, taking to the comments to share their thoughts.
One wrote: "Let’s go!!!! Can’t wait to watch," while another said: "Epic! I’m jealous. And bring it!"
Another speculated about what role Kelce would be taking on, writing: "Is TK gonna be a villain or a victim or an innocent bystander? Can't wait to see him work those acting chops."

The show Grotesquerie is the latest offering from Ryan Murphy, who has become widely-known for his horror anthology series American Horror Story, as well as American Crime Story and Feud.
Murphy is also involved in upcoming series American Sports Story.
It's also not Kelce's first time taking to the small screen outside of his sports career.
Kelce hosted Saturday Night Live in 2023, and has also been involved in some unscripted reality TV series.
These included his reality dating series Catching Kelce, and reportedly being signed as a host for Amazon's game show Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?
The tight end is also not the first person to cross over into acting in a Ryan Murphy project, with others including Lady Gaga who guest-starred in
American Horror Story.
