In the end, it was the Chiefs who won out, beating the 49ers by 25
points to 22 after an electrifying game.
Halftime saw iconic musician Usher taking to the stage, performing a medley of some of his greatest hits for the crowd.

He was joined onstage by Alicia Keys for a show-stopping performance for fans at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
Many people took to social media to share their views on the halftime show for the Super Bowl.

Musician Taylor Swift flew in especially from Japan, where she had been performing on her Eras Tour, to watch her boyfriend Travis Kelce playing with the Kansas City Chiefs.
The singer has been dating the sportsman for some months, with the pair being spotted together in public on a number of occasions.
Not only that, but Swift has also previously been seen in a private box alongside Kelce's mother watching him on the field.
And on this occasion Swift was cheering for the winning team, with the Chiefs romping home to victory.

Some fans of the singer even jokingly attributed the team's victory to her presence in the stands cheering them on.
Taking to social media, they joked: "Damn I can't believe Taylor Swift won the Super Bowl."
