Stranger Things actor Noah Schnapp celebrates his first Pride since coming out earlier this year.
The 18-year-old posted a carousel of heartwarming snaps to Instagram, including one of him standing by a fountain sporting a shirt that read, ‘Straight Outta The Closet’.
Schnapp captioned the post: “First Pride.”

However, his post was also met with a barrage of homophobic comments.
Some merely replied with: “Unfollow.”
But many fans were quick to step in and defend the young actor.
“To the people who are unfollowing, just know that your decision to unfollow won’t faze Noah and his 26.5 million other followers,” one fan said.

“People that say they're going to unfollow him just because of his sexuality need to grow up,” another clapped back.
Schnapp notably came out in January, sharing the special update to TikTok, posting a video with the caption that was the perfect nod to Stranger Things: "I guess I’m more similar to Will than I thought."
The eight-second clip appeared with a text overlay that read: "When I finally told my friends and family I was gay after being scared in the closet for 18 years and all they said was 'we know'."

In the clip, Schnapp also mouths along with a soundbite that says, 'You know what it never was? That serious'.
The following month, the actor also shared a touching text message from his grandfather, who expressed his love and support.
"Hey Noah I became aware today of your public announcement that you are gay," Noah's grandfather wrote.
"I just want you to know that I love you the same and I'm happy for you to be open and to be yourself. Just be proud of who and what you are. Iris and I are supportive of your honesty and ability to express your true self! Love you to the moon and back."

Anyway, whatever. Cool. Cool. Cool. I’m not crying. I’ve just got something in my eye.
