Paige VanZant has revealed she is a little bit superstitious after refusing a request from a subscriber on OnlyFans.
Admittedly, it wasn’t the most normal request like a selfie or an autograph.
But it left Paige VanZant a little wary about potentially getting 'cursed' if she fulfilled the request.
Speaking on her A Kicka** Love Story podcast on Thursday (February 1), the fighter recalled just how badly this OnlyFans subscriber wanted her to go through with the request.

So badly, in fact, that they were willing to pay her $50,000.
They wanted MMA fighter to cut her hair into a bob - as well as shave the back of her head into an undercut - and then mail the hair to them.
However, after watching a documentary, VanZant was left with cold feet.

The MMA fighter said that she was fearful that the subscriber had plans to do something nefarious with her locks.
“I’m still on the fence, but the reason I super super was like, ‘No, I can’t do that’ is because we had just gotten done watching the Gypsy Rose [Blanchard documentary],” she said.
The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard is a six-hour Lifetime documentary which aims to tell the 'shocking truth' about Blanchard's story as she prepares to be released from prison after serving eight years of her sentence.
In the documentary, Blanchard claimed that her mother had put a ‘curse’ on her by 'stealing some of her period blood' and burying it in the backyard as to 'curse' her into 'never finding true love'.

“So, then it got me to thinking, ‘OK, if I mail this guy my hair’, not that I necessarily believe in any of that — I don’t know." Vanzant continued to say.
She also added that she was initially skeptical of the request since it had already taken her a long time to even grow her hair out.
But her husband and fellow fighter, Austin Vanderford, agreed with her decision and said that it was ‘one too many strings’.

He also joked that the subscriber could have the idea of committing a crime and then placing VanZant’s hair at the scene, while she said that scenario would be concerning, however, she would still have an alibi.
Well, better to be safe than sorry, I suppose.
I could sure do with $50,000 if anyone wants me to cut my hair though.
Just a thought.
