Pedro Pascal has made his feelings about JK Rowling very clear and there's a pretty good reason behind his recent attack.
Harry Potter author Rowling recently celebrated the UK Supreme Court's decision on what legally defines a woman.
Judges in the UK's highest court said that the 'concept of sex is binary' and that a trans woman with a Gender Recognition Certificate (GRC) 'does not come within the definition of a woman'.

To put it simply, the court ruled that only women assigned female at birth meet the legal definition of a woman.
Rowling's comments about the trans community have lead to her facing accusations of transphobia in the past, and the author was quick to provide her thoughts on the Supreme Court's ruling last week.

Rowling took to Twitter to praise the 'three extraordinary, tenacious Scottish women with an army behind them to get this case heard by the Supreme Court and, in winning, they’ve protected the rights of women and girls across the UK'.

She added: "@ForWomenScot, I’m so proud to know you."
The Last of Us actor has since blasted Rowling after letting his thoughts be known in the comments section of a video posted by writer and activist Tariq Ra’ouf, who dubbed the Harry Potter author's comments as 'Voldemort villain s**t'.
"Awful disgusting S**T is exactly right. Heinous LOSER behavior," Pascal said.
Pedro Pascal's personal connection to the trans community
Pascal's sister Lux began identifying as non-binary back in 2020, before coming out as trans in 2021.

Speaking of her brother's support during her time transitioning, Lux told Chilean magazine Revista Ya: "He was one of the first people to gift me the tools that started shaping my identity."
Lux touched on how she came out to her famous brother, and it was certainly the most wholesome reaction.

"When I officially told him about my transition through FaceTime, he asked me how I felt... because I remember that he was worried," Lux added.

"I told him, 'I'm happy.' And his answer was: 'Perfect, this is incredible'."
Pascal was once asked by Esquire how Lux was handling the public reaction to her transition.
"She is and has always been one of the most powerful people and personalities I’ve ever known," the actor said, while stating it was not his place to 'speak on her behalf'.
"My protective side is lethal, but I need her more than she needs me," Pascal went on.
