Brad Pitt is one of the very best in the acting business, and in pretty much every movie he's cast in, you'll see him munching on something or other.
In Troy, he was gnawing on a turkey leg, while in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood, he enjoyed a bowl of mac and cheese as well as a Bloody Mary.
That's just two films, but there are more than 60 in which he has been pictured snacking on some food, with probably the most memorable being Ocean's Eleven, where he seemingly grazed for the entire movie.

While it may seem a bizarre method, Pitt has his reason why - although I'm not advocating for every actor to graze throughout an entire 90-minute film.
A cast of 30 people all just eating would be more like a cooking show.

Anyway, Pitt has actually weighed into the discussion previously while being interviewed by JOE during the build-up to Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood alongside co-star Margot Robbie, who'd actually asked him about his on-screen eating habits.

The question was spurred on by the publication mentioning that there was a 15-minute compilation of Pitt eating on the big screen.
Robbie asked: "I have noticed you eat food a lot in movies,” to which Pitt responded: "I like to busy myself, I’m a grazer by nature, so..."
The Barbie star then interjects: "I know, I like that too, when you get to do something. In Ocean’s Eleven, do you talk about it, or do you just always have food handy?"
Turns out that they did 'just have it', however, there was some method to the madness - at least with Ocean's Eleven.

The Interview with a Vampire star continued: "Well, there was actually method to that, because he was always on the run, always on the move, I figured he could never sit down and have a proper meal. So he always had to grab something on the run."
It makes sense, and while director Steven Soderbergh probably didn't envision it, it definitely worked.
Then if you look at the types of food he eats, for instance we'll call back to that turkey leg he ate in Troy, he's actually eaten that same poultry dish five times on-screen total over the course of his career.

The other four times, come in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, True Romance, Legends of the Fall, Cool World.
And fans were quick to comment on it, with one person writing: "I was just rewatching moneyball and this stood out to me in the movie too! He’s always snacking on something."
A second said: "I used to work in Hollywood and the thing about eating during scenes is that it’s literally just something to do."
Meanwhile, a third said it's 'its his thing'.

We've all got our quirks, I guess.
