Pete Davidson has returned to Instagram amid the drama with Kanye West - and he's followed just two people.
The drama surrounding Davidson, West and Kim Kardashian is incredibly tedious and borderline frightening, really, so here's the quickest rundown: Davidson and Kardashian are dating, Kardashian and West are divorced, West doesn't like that Davidson and Kardashian are dating.
Up until recently, West's Instagram was a stream of capitalised, frantic posts, with one branding Davidson a 'd*ckhead', and others showing screenshots of messages between himself and Kardashian; one even showed her expressing concern over the Saturday Night Live star's safety.

Davidson departed Instagram around four years ago, long before his relationship with Kardashian. Yesterday, February 16, he set up a new profile that's already been verified, with James Stewart in It's a Wonderful Life as his profile picture.
He's yet to post anything, and while he's attracted more than 695,000 followers already, he's only followed two people: Kardashian, and Marvel Cinematic Universe and Pam and Tommy star Sebastian Stan.
For reference, Davidson was earlier set to star as Stewart's George Bailey in a charity table read of the classic movie. While the concept wasn't met particularly positively, he fired back on SNL, saying, 'It’s an old-timey film about a guy who is suicidal. I’m famously depressed and have the complexion of someone in a black and white movie.'

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly alongside his grandfather, he also said, 'When I got that email I freaked out. We were all just like, 'Holy crap.' We watch it not just during Christmas, we watch it a couple times a year, so I was just beyond thrilled and honoured that they even thought of me.'
Earlier this month, Davidson confirmed Kardashian was his girlfriend for the first time in an interview with People. 'I don’t have Instagram or Twitter or any of that stuff. So, most of my daily life is getting into cars and showing up to a set. Or, if I’m off, I just either hang with my friends or chill with my girlfriend inside. So I don’t do much,' he said.
When he first left Instagram, he described the internet as 'an evil place... why should I spend any time on negative energy when my real life is f*cking lit. The fact that I even have to say this proves my point. I love you all and I’m sure I’ll be back at some point. your neighbourhood goon, Pete.'
