Priyanka Chopra has opened up about the 'dehumanising' moment that made her walk off of a film set.
The actor had made a huge name for herself in the Bollywood film industry before moving into American films and TV shows like Quantico, Baywatch, Isn't It Romantic, and The Matrix Resurrections.
But back when she was starting out her film career, Priyanka had a horrible experience on the set of a film that left her with no choice but to quit.

Speaking to The Zoe Report, Priyanka recalled that she had been cast in the unnamed film around 2002 or 2003, which would have been shortly after she had won Miss India and Miss World.
Explaining her role in the film, she said: "I’m undercover, I’m seducing the guy - obviously that’s what girls do when they’re undercover.
"But I’m seducing the guy and you have to take off one piece of clothing [at a time]."

She continued: "I wanted to layer up [but] the filmmaker was like, ‘No, I need to see her underwear. Otherwise why is anybody coming to watch this movie?’
"He didn’t say it to me. He said it to the stylist in front of me. It was such a dehumanising moment.
"It was a feeling of, ‘I’m nothing else outside of how I can be used, my art is not important, what I contribute is not important’."
Priyanka explained that, just two days later, she decided to quit the film and even paid back production for what they had spent on her.

"I just couldn’t look at [the director] every day," she said.
This isn't the first time Priyanka has spoken about her rocky experiences in Bollywood.
Earlier this year, the actor sat down with Dax Shepard for his Armchair Expert podcast, and claimed that she had been 'pushed into a corner' in Bollywood before she moved into American film and TV.

She revealed: "I had people not casting me, I had beef with people, I am not good at playing that game so I kind of was tired of the politics and I said I needed a break."
Elsewhere in her latest interview, Priyanka opened up about how difficult it was to get work in the States despite her Bollywood success.
"People didn’t want to take meetings with me because they thought I was a Bollywood actor and I couldn’t do mainstream American movies,” she said.

"I had been on the cover of this [fashion] magazine six times in India and they wouldn’t take a meeting with me in America. Because they were like, ‘Oh, I don’t know what we’ll do with her.’"
Obviously it all eventually worked out for Priyanka, who is now arguably one of the biggest names in Hollywood right now.
