Rebel Wilson has lashed out at those who 'mom shamed' her for going partying after the birth of her daughter.
The Australian star, whose daughter was born via surrogate, defended her nights out to her mates Brittany Hockley and Laura Byrne on their Life Uncut podcast.
"It was only a week until I got mom-shamed," Rebel told her former Bachelor Australia reality star pals.

"I was shocked at the criticism because Chris Hemsworth goes to the gym, and people aren't yelling, 'Where's your kids?' But why do they do it to every woman?"
The star doubled down by saying that she should still be able to enjoy herself while being a mother.
Wilson then said the parties she went to, one for Leonardo DiCaprio's birthday and another for Paris Hilton's wedding anniversary, were more like 'work' than play.

"Like, I'm talking to directors or talking to other actors that might be useful to collaborate with… and then we were basically home by midnight," Wilson said.
"Just because you become a mother, doesn’t mean that you lose your identity as a person. It doesn't mean you can't go out with friends or you can't go on a holiday. It doesn't mean you can’t have a career."
She added: "People will say I'm in a privileged position, which I am, but I think it's so outdated. Why is it women shaming other women? It always is."
The 42-year-old Aussie star welcomed her first child, Royce Lillian, back in November.

She announced the major life update with an adorable snap on Instagram.
The caption reads: "Beyond proud to announce the birth of my first child, Royce Lillian, born this past week via surrogate.
"I can’t even describe the love I have for her, she’s a beautiful miracle! I am forever grateful to everyone who has been involved, (you know who you are), this has been years in the making…but particularly wanted to thank my gorgeous surrogate who carried her and birthed her with such grace and care. Thank you for helping me start my own family, it’s an amazing gift. The BEST gift!!
