Selena Gomez’s former Disney co-star Jennifer Stone has come to her defense about the recent trolling she has faced online.
Watch what Stone had to say to her friend's haters below:
Gomez, 30, recently spoke out about being mocked online for her appearance, having repeatedly fought back against comments picking at her weight following a lupus diagnosis in 2014 – a condition she says makes it feel like her body is 'fighting itself on the inside'.

She initially laughed off the digs about her looking ‘dumpy’ or even ‘pregnant’ in an Instagram Live with her sister Gracie Elliot Teefey, saying: "I’m a little bit big right now because I enjoyed myself during the holidays.”
But the singer later admitted she does care about the onslaught of comments, saying in Apple+’s second season of Dear: "I was posting these things saying it doesn't bother me because I didn't want it to bother other people who were experiencing the same thing."
She continued: "Getting shamed for what they look like, who they are, who they love, I just think it's so unfair."

This also comes amid ongoing rumours that she is locked in a bitter feud with Hailey Bieber, the wife of her ex-boyfriend Justin, which has only added to the social media pile-on.
Now Jennifer Stone, her co-star from Wizards of Waverley Place, has spoken out in her defense in a TikTok video.
In the clip, she lip-synched along to audio of Jamie Lee Curtis defending Ariana DeBose after the BAFTAs, when she said: “These people should shut the f**k up, back the f**k off, and let this woman just shine her light.”
In the caption, Stone added: “When people try to mess with my people…”

While the star didn’t specify who or what she was referring to, she made it a little more obvious when she used the hashtag #teamselena, with others including #womenforwomen and #growup.
One commented: “HARPER KEEPING AN EYE OUT FOR ALEX.”
Another said: “Not Harper being team Selena I’m so here for this.”
Someone else wrote: “Jennifer keeping a eye out for SELENURR.”

Earlier this month, Gomez also reminded her fans to be 'kinder', in an apparent move to get them to lay off the Biebers.
The Only Murders in the Building actor wrote on TikTok: “Please be kind and consider others' mental health. My heart has been heavy, and I only want good for everyone. All my love.”
