There are many reasons why you might want to be like Vin Diesel, but for one Thai man, that just isn't enough.
Arthit Duangsri is sometimes known as 'The Thai Vin Diesel', and looking at him it's not hard to see why.
The 38-year-old used to be a dancer for a band, but he struggled to find a look that worked for him and suspected people didn't think the long-haired look was doing him any favours.

After tying his long hair up while dancing, someone told him it made him look like movie star Diesel.
Already a huge fan of the actor, Arthit went to get his head and face shaved in the style of the Fast and Furious lead.
What was much more difficult was getting the body of the action lead, which required 'years of sweat and tears'.
He sticks to a high protein diet to maintain his muscular body and lives in hope that he'll one day get to meet his idol and celebrity lookalike.

While he's not the only person to bear a decent resemblance to Diesel, Arthit might be the most dedicated of all of his lookalikes.
A lot of people have been really supportive of Arthit, with people he meets happy to see him and plenty of commenters expressing their support for him.
One person commented that he was 'doing what he loves and made it', while a second said 'who tf am I to judge someone for something making them happy'.
Someone else suggested he may be 'struggling to find himself', but insisted they 'loved' that he was 'living his best life'.

Others found the funny side, joking that he didn't say 'family' nearly enough to properly live his life like Diesel.
If Arthit ever did cross paths with the man himself, he's said he'd just give Diesel a big hug and say 'I love you', which is the sweetest thing ever and undeniable proof that this dedication is coming from a good place.
On the day to day, he runs an IT shop, but since finding viral fame he now gets booked to appear at events.

He also enjoys driving around dressed as Dominic Toretto, Diesel's character in the Fast and Furious movies, saying that he feels like he's in the movie when he puts his pedal to the metal.
So the guy has gone from a dancer who felt like he hadn't found his ideal look to someone people ask to take pictures with - and he said it makes him 'feel good'.
When he puts it like that, who are we to argue with his happiness? And if Vin Diesel is ever looking for another stunt double, he now knows who to call.
