Tom Cruise has been called out for his 'crimes against humanity' by Leah Remini over the role he has played in the Church of Scientology.
Cruise's latest movie, Top Gun: Maverick, is flying high in cinemas at the moment but the lead actor has been accused of playing a part in 'crimes against humanity'.
King of Queens star Leah Remini, formerly a Scientologist herself until she left in 2013, has always been vocal about her negative experiences with the church and now, she's shared criticism of Cruise written by Claire Headley online.

Former Scientologists Claire and husband Marc had filed a court case against the Church of Scientology in 2009, alleging that the organisation had violated human trafficking laws and people's human rights.
Their case was dismissed after the courts decided that the Church of Scientology was protected by 'ministerial exemption', a legal doctrine in US law which protects religious institutions.
Sharing the accusations against Cruise and Scientology, Remini warned people 'don't let the movie star charm fool you'.
The post calling out Cruise started with: "Glad all you Top Gun fans are enjoying the new movie. Personally, recent posts about this movie only serve to remind me of Tom Cruise and his crimes against humanity."

It then went on to mention Cruise's daughter, Suri, and his ex-wife Katie Holmes, along with accusing the actor of knowing 'exactly who he is supporting and the abuses that organization perpetrates'.
Headley wrote: "Tom Cruise promotes a dangerous cult that destroyed my family too, the same cult that almost cost me my marriage and my life.
"The same cult that forced me to have two abortions, and which I fled from in 2005 with the clothes on my back and $200 in my pocket, to which they tracked me down, across state lines, to attempt to prevent my escape."
Remini thanked Headley for her courage in writing it and reiterated the allegation that Cruise 'knows exactly what's going on in Scientology'.

Almost certainly the most famous Scientologist in the world, Cruise converted to Scientology in 1986 under the influence of his first wife, Mimi Rogers, who has since left the church.
Former members of the church have claimed Cruise has tried to convert the likes of Steven Spielberg, Will Smith and David Beckham to the church.
The church has faced a wide range of allegations over possible mistreatment of members and exploitative practices.

Remini made an Emmy-award winning documentary series titled Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath where she speaks to those who have left the church about their experiences.
She previously told US Weekly 'it's time for people to start waking up' and said Cruise 'manipulated his image to be the good guy'.
