Brooke Shields has revealed that she used to receive a Christmas cake from Tom Cruise, until they mysteriously stopped arriving.
Made at Doan’s Bakery in the Hollywood Hills, the Top Gun: Maverick star traditionally sends the luxurious $126 (£101) bundt cake to his A List friends as a festive gift.
Whilst Shields had no resentment towards the 60-year-old actor, she did admit that she wanted to get ‘back on the cake list’.
It’s hardly surprising given the major stars who’ve received the coconut cake in previous years, including Angela Bassett, Miles Teller, Kristen Dustin, and Henry Cavill.

Whilst most of us would be happy just to receive the rich desert once, Shields even revealed that she’d been a recipient for a decade.
Whilst promoting her new documentary, Pretty Baby, she told People Magazine: “I was on the list for a while - I had a good 10-year run, and I got the coconut cake every year.”
However, the cakes would eventually stop coming as the Mission Impossible actor became more distant from the former model.

The pair had originally bonded over their young kids, with Cruise welcoming his daughter Suri in the same year and hospital where Shields gave birth to her second child.
The former child star had even been invited to the Cocktail actor’s lavish Italian wedding to his now ex-wife, Katie Holmes.
During this time, Shields started receiving the luxury desert every Christmas which came with a card from the family.
In fact, the former child star was so close with the young family that she and Cruise held a joint first birthday party for their children.

Sadly, it wasn’t to last, and as Cruise began his bitter divorce from Holmes, in 2012, Shields would also become more distant from the Hollywood leading man.
“It was from them and Suri, so it was the three of them, and then soon it was no Suri and no Katie and just Tom,” the 57 year old told the publication, as she spoke about the changing letter and the disappearing family members.
Though the cakes kept coming, they became increasingly sporadic as Shields explained.

“Then it went from just Tom for a while, but not every holiday. And then the cake stopped,” she admitted, adding that she didn’t understand what happened.
Whilst she doesn’t hold a grudge, Shields admitted that she still wants to receive the treat.
She added: “I want to get back on that cake list. It's the best cake - Tom, I need to be back on the cake list.”
We’d also like to be included, Tom.
