Ah, Zorro, a classic movie and an excellent Halloween costume.
We honestly couldn't imagine anyone in the role other than Banderas, but according to the iconic actor, Tom Holland would be perfect to revive the film.

For those not familiar with Zorro is a film franchise about a masked hero/vigilante. There have been many iterations over the years, the first in 1940, titled The Mark of Zorro, starring Tyrone Power; the film was rebooted in 1975, with Alain Delon at the helm.
Then in 1998, the film was rebooted into a franchise, with Antony Hopkins starring as an elderly Zorro, who passes the torch onto a new apprentice, played by Banderas.
Banderas became the new Zorro, starring in The Mask of Zorro and The Legend of Zorro, though he might not be done just yet.
Speaking about the possibility of a Zorro remake to ComicBook.com, Banderas said: "Yes, I would, I would consider that possibility, why not?"

He went on to add that he would like his role to go to a new actor, as his legendary predecessor did for him: "If they called me to do Zorro, I would do what Anthony Hopkins did for me, which is to pass the torch."
Does that mean we might see Banderas pull a Hopkins and train up the new Zorro? We hope so.
And who exactly would be perfect to take over the part? None other than Tom Holland, everyone's favourite Marvel man.

To be fair, Holland already has the hero thing down, so maybe Zorro is a decent next step.
Banderas certainly thinks so, as he gushed about working with the actor on the set of Uncharted: "I did Uncharted with him, and he’s so energetic and fun. He’s got this spark, too. Why not?"
Why not indeed, we'd definitely queue up to see what the reboot might have in store.

People, naturally, freaked out on Twitter at the news with one person saying: "Sounds great!" While another added: "Please, don't be joking. I will totally support this movie to be made."
However, others were more sceptical, asking: "Diego Luna(from Narcos: Mexico & Star Wars: Andor) should be the only option please."
With another adding: "The same mindset that made them cast Chris Pratt as Mario lol and it just sounds off smh."
What do you think of Holland potentially reviving the franchise?
