Tom Holland is backing all of the short kings out there - such as myself - while addressing the 'ridiculous' double standard over his height compared to Zendaya.
The British actor, 26, and his Spider-Man co-star, 26, are probably Hollywood's favourite couple after they were pictured sharing a kiss back in 2021.
However, despite being - in the eyes of many - the most well-rounded Peter Parker actor ever, one thing that gets labelled at him is that he's two inches shorter than Zendaya, who plays MJ.
Following an appearance on The Graham Norton Show in 2021, the pair revealed their confusion at the obsession over their height gap.

Holland comes in at 5'8 while his girlfriend is 5'10.
"Not that much taller. Let’s put this out there," the Spider-Man star said.
"Maybe like an inch or two at best. It’s not like people say, ‘How did you guys kiss? It must have been so difficult."

In the same year, SiriusXM host Jessica Shaw argued that some of the jokes about height were ‘misogynistic’ and ‘problematic.’
"It's a stupid assumption," Holland thought.
"It's ridiculous. I remember when we were doing the Spider-Man screen tests, I mean, you'd have to ask [director] Jon Watts this question, but every girl we tested for both roles was taller than me.
"And I wonder whether that was a decision Jon had made, there was no one who tested that was shorter than I was.

"To be fair, I am quite short.
"So maybe that's a decision Jon Watts made, and something he was aware of, and he wanted to break the stereotype."
"I honestly never thought of it as a thing," Zendaya also said.

"Because my parents were always that way.
"So I, I didn’t know that people cared. I have no construct of it."
During an interview with GQ, Holland said they felt 'robbed' of their privacy when their relationship went public.
He said: "One of the downsides of our fame is that privacy isn't really in our control anymore.

"And a moment that you think is between two people that love each other very much is now a moment that is shared with the entire world.
"I've always been really adamant to keep my private life private, because I share so much of my life with the world anyway. We sort of felt robbed of our privacy."
