Thousands of people have watched the moment a truck driver and streamer veered off the road to avoid a head-on collision mid-broadcast.
Twitch streamer OTR_Penguin has dedicated much of his page to live-stream videos of him driving his truck in the US, with one camera focused on his own movements while the other captures the open road.
He was streaming to his near 10,000 followers as usual during a drive in Mississippi yesterday (14 December), when all of a sudden an oncoming car veered on to his side of the road.
Seemingly without even breaking a sweat, OTR_Penguin pulled his truck off the road and into the grass and trees at the side.

The camera focused on the road froze, but the video continued to show the streamer as he attempted to keep control of the wheel.
After he pulled off the road, items could be seen flying about in his cabin and OTR_Penguin fell to the side as the truck toppled over. He then pulled off his seatbelt and disappeared from view.
The shocking clip has racked up more than 129,000 views at the time of writing (15 December), as well as being shared and heavily upvoted on the Reddit thread r/LivestreamFail, where users share bad or surprising livestream events.

OTR_Penguin said he 'never planned to go viral', but decided to share some comments on his experience after people across the globe witnessed the crash.
In a post on Twitter this morning, the streamer wrote: "Well, I never planned to go viral. Since I have though, I'd like to say a few things. One, it is not illegal to stream, I have officers of the law that watch my stream. I had two choices, take the ditch or possibly kill or injure another person. I could not live with the latter.
"My choices are mine and my consequences are mine as well."
OTR_Penguin went on to claim that a police officer had informed him he was 'not at fault' before he went to hospital, adding: "So to all the haters, much love and be blessed. I can sleep at night knowing that I saved a life not took one, no matter his mistakes."

In an interview with Backup The Truck, the streamer said that other than a few bumps and bruises from where 'gravity kicked [his] a**', he is fine and ready to get back out on the road.
A police report cited by the publication states the trucker was not at fault in the incident. Authorities are now also searching for the driver of the red 90’s Chevy S-10 pickup which forced the streamer off the road.
