People just realized why Will Smith's kids are called Jaden and Willow
Social media users can't believe it took them so long to realize the meaning behind Will Smith's kids' name.
Some social media users have had a lightbulb moment after realizing how Will Smith and Jada Smith named their children.
Often celebrities come up with odd and very uncommon names for their children.
It happens so often that people hardly bat an eyelid these days.
But on X, some have finally worked out why the two Smith children by Will and Jada are called Jaden and Willow.

And the reason they gave them their names is actually kind of sweet.
Maybe you have already worked it out since it is really obvious when you think about it - but we can all be forgiven for having things go over our heads now and again.
In a since deleted post, an X user named Shek detailed her realization that the siblings' names are, in fact, a play on their parents' own - which also shook a lot of other social media users.
Another user wrote: "I was today years old when I realized Jaden and Willow Smith’s names are just their parents names in different forms???? Goodbye."
"I feel so dumb for just realizing that willow and Jaden Smith’s names are just variations of their parent’s names," another commented.
“Please I’ve just realized after your tweet, I thought they were just random names,” a third wrote.
“Will Smith=Willow Smith, Jada Smith= Jaden Smith, I don’t know how I never realized,” a fourth added.
Willow is a 23-year-old singer and actress who starred alongside her father in 2007's I Am Legend.
Jaden similarly appeared in a film alongside Smith in The Pursuit of Happyness (2006).
Smith also has son Willard Smith III – who goes by Trey Smith – with actress-turned-reality TV star and ex-wife Sheree Zampino.
"I thought his name was Trey this whole time just found out today that Trey is his nickname because he's the 3rd Willard Smith," a user wrote.
Smith's current relationship with his eldest son is strong now, but the two have had some rocky patches in the past.
The Men in Black actor has previously opened up on Instagram about restoring his relationship with Trey.
He wrote: "It has not always been like this between Trey & I. We STRUGGLED FOR YEARS after my Divorce from his Mother.
"He felt betrayed & abandoned. It is a Wild Blessing to recover & restore a Loving Relationship with My Beautiful Son!"
He also added a video where he described taking Trey to watch some Formula 1 racing, and his son told him: "You're not just my dad, I'm pretty sure you're my best friend."
