After suffering an almost-fatal heart attack, most would wake up pretty disorientated.

But the first thing Tina Hines did was reach for a pen.

At the time of her heart attack, Tina had been hiking with her husband, Brian.

Before she was taken to hospital, Brian and emergency services are said to brought her 'back to life four times' before she was placed on a defibrillator.

Then, when she woke up, Tina immediately asked for a pen as she had an important message to write down.

Putting pen to paper after ‘coming back to life’, she managed to scribble out a message which appeared to read ‘it’s real’.

As to what she meant by 'it', when Tina was asked she simply pointed up to the sky in reference to heaven.

Her medical records confirm that Tina was clinically dead for twenty-seven minutes.

Since the ordeal back in 2018, Tina has devoted her life to telling as many people as possible about her near-death experience and is a Christian motivational speaker.

Tina wrote a chilling message after dying for almost 30 minutes.

She even has a book titled 'Heaven… It’s Real: How Dying Changes Living'.

Part of the book's description reads: "Changed by her death, time in Heaven with Jesus, and return to life, Tina has written a book based on her journals of how dying has changed living.

"'Heaven - It's Real... How Dying Changes Living' is a message of hope for the fearful and comfort for those who have lost loved ones.

"It contains honest insights about her shortcomings, including ways her experience is helping her change and grow.

"The book offers practical advice on every day challenges like fear, anxiety, depression, priorities, and relationships paired with Scripture and biblical teaching for each day's devotion as well as room to journal in response to devotional questions."

And plenty of other people also believe that they’ve seen the afterlife for themselves when they've come close to knocking on heaven's door and getting the induction tour from St Peter.

After she was brought back to life Tina wrote 'it's real'.

One person commented that hearing someone's account of heaven being real had 'given me so much comfort', while another said it sounded like an 'amazing experience'.

Lots of others asked for more specific details, as plenty of others who've had near-death experiences have been pretty clear about what they did and saw.

The scientific reason for people having such vivid near-death experiences is that when someone is dying, there's a surge of activity in the brain, which researchers think could trigger a higher level of consciousness.

That would go some way to explaining why people have out-of-body experiences, believe they are meeting long-gone friends and family members, or even meeting Jesus Christ himself.
