When flying, many of us might inadvertently have habits which are a little gross or irritating for other passengers.
It could be not disposing of litter when we get off the plane or snoring on a long flight.
There are also those people who think it's okay to take off their shoes and socks and put their bare feet up on the seat in front.

Which, firstly, why would you feel comfortable taking off shoes on a plane, imagine how much vomit has saturated that carpet over the years?
Secondly, no-one wants a stranger's feet next to their face for the duration of a four hour flight.
But now a flight attendant has revealed one of the grossest things that passengers do when it comes to the staff on the plane.
As a flight attendant, one must see a lot of interesting and unsettling things in the line of work.

For example, helping passengers who are bad flyers to stay calm and overcome their fear.
It could be dealing with a particularly rude or aggressive passenger, or someone who is having a medical emergency on the plane.
But it's not these things that flight attendant Marisa Mackle told Lunchtime Live about.

Instead, it was the more common habits which gross out flight attendant, including one in particular.
She said: "One of the most annoying things for me was when people would blow their nose and hand you the tissue."
Eww.
Marisa recalled one incident in particular: "When you walk down the aisle collecting the rubbish and people would sometimes go, 'Oh wait!' and they just blow their nose.

"I actually remember one time I was coming back from LA having my break and I had the curtain closed.
"An American passenger pulled over the curtain and he goes, 'Hey, I have something for you' and he threw the tissue on to my plate into my meal. thinking he was doing me a favour."
Gee, thanks.

Marisa also explained that passengers should not feel shy or embarrassed about asking for a sick bag, because let's be honest, if you're going to be sick it's better it goes in the bag than on the floor or a flight attendant.
She said: "The minute you feel sick you should ask for a sick bag. The crew would rather give you a sick bag than be vomited on.
"A lady came up, I was just standing by the toilet, and she vomited all over my legs. I had to take off my tights and do the whole service in bare legs."
So if you feel sick, say so!
