An unnerving video shared by a TikTok user shows her confronting a man who allegedly followed her home after an unsuccessful first date.
Alissa, from Ohio, shared her video on TikTok after meeting the man on the dating app Hinge.
The 30-year-old TikToker made it back to her Honda car after the date, but she recorded herself confronting the man as she realized he'd followed her all the way home.
"Do not get aggressive with me," Alissa said, describing herself as 'bewildered' as the man asked what his 'options' were.

"You don't know me. You don't know me, why would you follow me home? I feel so unsafe right now, the fact that you followed me home," she told him.
Alissa claimed in the video that she'd left the date after finding out the man was 'racist', but he attempted to defend himself as he claimed he was 'the furthest from [a] racist person'.
"No you're not," Alissa responded. "The furthest person from racist would never say that word."

In response, the man claimed he would 'call his Black friends'.
He then became more aggressive when she continued to tell him 'no', shouting: "What kind of f***ing respect did I get when I spent $300 on you, you f***ing c***. Go f*** yourself."
Alissa wound up the window of her car to drown out the man's shouts and proceeded to drive away.
Two days later, Alissa shared an update to say she had needed time to process what had happened.

"I will at some point deliver the night from start to finish. I'm not in that place yet," she explained.
"I need to be cautious and unguarded on my delivery and ... I don't want to make this video about having to defend myself."
In a message to the Daily Dot, Alissa claimed the man had reached out to her the day after their failed date via Snapchat and acted as though the whole unpleasant encounter had never occurred.

However, when Alissa attempted to report him on Hinge, the man had already unmatched her.
And TikTok users have flooded Alissa's video with kind comments and support after she shared it last month, with many highlighting that scary reactions like that shown in the video are not uncommon in the dating world.
"This is a great video to save and have because this happens to almost every woman and yet no one believes us," one viewer wrote. "I’m so glad your [sic] safe."
One male TikToker also showed support as he responded: "Us men as a whole need to understand how scary going on a first date can be for women.

"Wow, I'm sorry you delt [sic] with that."
