A man has been left floored after his wife concocted a plan to have him impregnate her best friend.
For most women, the idea of their husband knocking up another woman while they were still married would be a nightmare, but this 33-year-old wife actively wants her spouse to get someone else pregnant.
Mark and his wife, Emily, have been married for seven years and share two kids.
It hasn't always just been them in their relationship, however. The couple had 'a drunken threesome' with Emily's best friend Sarah some years ago and have continued their three-way romance ever since.

Mark describes Sarah and being like a 'second mom' to his two children which he shares with his wife, and now Emily wants her to be even more closely linked to their family.
"A few days ago, after we put the kids to bed, the three of us were relaxing with a couple of drinks. Suddenly Emily said something that's been keeping me up," Mark wrote on Reddit.
"'What if Mark was your donor?' she said to Sarah. 'You've seen what amazing kids he makes,' she added with a wink.

"I nearly choked on my drink. But as the conversation developed, it was clear this wasn't just a passing thought. They'd been discussing it for weeks.
"Sarah's been researching sperm banks but feels uncomfortable with the idea of an anonymous donor. Emily thinks it's perfect, Sarah gets a baby from someone she knows and trusts, and our children would have a half-sibling they already love."
Adding to Mark's decision on the matter, Sarah and Emily don't want to go through a clinic and have suggested that he impregnates Sarah 'naturally'.
While it's a pretty wild suggestion, Mark said the thing that's 'really f**king with [his] head' is just how excited Emily is at the idea of it all.

He said: "She can't hide the excitement at the idea of me getting her best friend pregnant, just like she was when we were trying for our kids.
"Sarah keeps giving me these shy looks that drive me crazy, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't attracted to the idea."
Knowing he should 'probably say no', Mark admitted that he's 'seriously considering it'.

Mark asked his fellow Redditors: "Am I crazy for even considering this?"
His ordeal has left social media users divided. While some have labeled the idea as 'f**ked up', others said to 'go for it' if everyone's happy with the situation.
One supporter of the idea wrote: "As a polyamorous person, this is cute.
"Honestly if you're all basically dating/living together and coraising kids, the dynamic shouldn't change as long as communication lines stay very open."

But another added: "What are your responsibilities to this child? Will you be up in the middle of the night with this baby, or is she insisting that she wants to raise the child alone? I can see it getting messy if you don’t have a clear picture of any parental duties."
As for Mark, it sounds like he may have already made his mind up, writing: "The legal implications alone should terrify me, but somehow they don't.
"God help me, but I think I'm going to do it."
