Some people have admitted their parking skills aren’t up to scratch and have been floored by a simple method on the perfect way to parallel park.
A lot of people know how to drive and yet not all of these people know how to park, or park well at least.
Some people have been driving cars for years but there is just one manoeuvre they simply can’t get right on the first try.

Parallel parking is definitely one of them. I bet you can think of someone you know right now who parallel parks like they have never driven a car before.
Well some of these people have gotten a little chatty on social media after admitting they were stunned at a video showing the 'perfect way' to park.
The post was shared on Twitter by the Learn Something page on September 30 and was captioned: “The scientific method of parking a car.”

Now personally, I can’t think of any other way to parallel park - this is pretty much how I have always done it.
So if you don’t do this method... no wonder you are struggling to park.
The video is short and simple enough, you line up your car next to the car you want to park behind, reverse until your back seats are in line with the back of the car and then full lock the steering wheel the direction you want to go.
You then reverse until your front mirror has just passed the back of the car and then full lock the steering wheel the opposite way.

And hey presto you are perfectly parked.
“Its great and amazing method for parking car,” one person commented on social media.
“My driving instructor had white drawing pins stuck in the middle and both corners of the backseat shelf for orientation when reverse parking. Pretty soon I could reverse park without those pins. Great idea,” commented another.

“Works like wonders!! I had been driving for 15 years when someone told me this!! Changed my entire parallel parking game!!,” a third wrote.

“It's not just a scientific method, this is exactly the method they teach you in driving school before you get your license."
"Anyone who doesn't know it shouldn't have a license!,” commented another person.
So there you go, if you are not perfectly parallel parking after watching this video... well fair enough but you should probs get in some practice at some point.
