A teenage millionaire has hit back after trolls called him out for posing with a rented Ferrari.

'Self-made' Dylan Huntley claims to be the 'youngest private fund manager in America' after becoming a millionaire at the age of 15.

Now aged 16, he says he made his money from day trading crypto, starting a private fund and then going on to run a software company.

However, Dylan has felt the need to address those who have been teasing him for posing in rented supercars. Watch below:

Taking to X (Twitter), Dylan began by explaining how he made his millions.

"It all started when I was 9 years old. I raised $2k for a Muscular Dystrophy charity drive doing door-to-door campaigns," he tweeted.

"As an only child, this gave me an unmatched skillset: Sales.

"But it was a prelude of what was to come.

"One day, age 11, my dad made me a wager.

"He believed in me and loaned me $1000.

"Any money I made from investing in stocks

"I would keep to buy a car in high school.

"What came next wasn’t an easy journey.

"You may think that as a high schooler without any responsibilities…

"It would be easy to make bread just by being astute.

"Right? Wrong. The loan simply put me on track for the windy road ahead."

He said that when the popular video game Fortnite came out, this was the real game-changer.

"I played professionally for hundreds of hours," he explained.

"And I ended up making $25k.

"This money became over a million through day trading on the Bitcoin bull run.

"You may think: 'he got lucky'

"'He’s privileged'. 'He must be a scammer'. Think what you will.

"Nothing can take away the main key to my success…Putting in the work.

"That’s it. Thousands of hours researching stocks & financial instruments.

"Neglecting my social life. Fighting back emotions over my parents’ divorce."

After his long thread, users quickly picked up on a new Twitter post of him standing and posing beside a Ferrari.

And it seems that X's 'content box' was calling him out, writing: “The Ferrari this individual is posing with is owned by the exotic car rental company ‘Cloud 9 Exotics’ – you can see the sticker in the window.”

Defending himself from the hundreds of comments, Dylan recorded his comeback while driving in a rented McLaren.

"So, yesterday I was attacked by Twitter and the [community] because apparently people don't like seeing a successful 16-year-old taking pictures in front of a rented supercar, which to me doesn't make sense because renting is one of the most physically responsible things that I think I can do as a 16-year-old, and I'll break it down like this," he said.

"I can run a supercar like this McLaren 570s for one week for roughly the same price that it would take to finance it.

"However, I don't have to worry about insurance, which I probably couldn't even get for this car, I don't have to worry about servicing and maintenance, I don't have to worry about depreciating this asset.

"On top of that, I'm not tied down to it, so I can go anywhere I want to in the country and I can get any vehicle I want to.

"I'm much more fluid, I can shuffle around, change it when I want to."

It seems like a good idea in all honesty.
