A passenger had to endure rather vile behavior from a fellow flyer and took to the internet to ask how best to deal with the situation.
The travel part of going to a destination isn’t exactly most people’s favorite part of a holiday.
Having to go through security, long lines, possible delays and all manner of things can make it a rather long experience.

So, when you finally do get sat down, what most people want is a pleasant journey. However, one Reddit user didn’t exactly get that because of a fellow passenger.

Sharing an image on the Reddit board singaporeairlines, the user shared an image of a passenger resting their foot on their knee with their socks off.
They captioned the image: “Just wondering, if a passenger is rude next to you, like this example here.

“Can I request to change seats or get him to put on his stupid shoes? He was like throughout the flight except for meal times at which he kept asking for whiskey and only after confirming that it was a Johnny Walker red label…..for the life of me. Why did I have to put next to this heathen?”
As you can imagine, this sparked a debate on plane and travel etiquette with many other social media users offering up advice on how to deal with it.
One user said: “Quite simple actually. Just use your feet and touch his feet, you’re wearing shoes, he isn’t.”
Another said: “Omg i swear there are so many disgusting people in this world that Iifeel like i have to pay 4x the price to sit business so that I can avoid this kind of situation.”

A third joked: “Suck his toes when hes asleep.
“Unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it. If you area really mad about it and need to seek some semblance of peace, maybe create an anonymous social media post with his face on it.”
With another offering good advice as they said: “Sorry you were put in this position. If I were in your shoes (hehe), I would have asked him politely to move his foot as it is in your space. I've found that most people do get embarrassed or aware enough that their actions are affecting others and oblige. If not, speak to the staff. You deserve to be comfortable too.”

Hopefully, you never have to deal with these people in your own travels.
