'Hawk Tuah' woman Haliey Welch has opened up about a 'revolting' request she received after becoming internet famous.

After her answer to a question about what bedroom antic sends men 'crazy every time' went viral, Welch has found herself not only in the spotlight, but on the receiving end of some rather bizarre requests.

The 21-year-old was asked the question by Tim & Dee TV while at CMA Fest in Nashville.

And while she may've thought she'd never see the interview ever again, after it was uploaded to TikTok on June 11 it didn't take long for the clip to go viral and for Welch's face to end up plastered all over social media.

If you're wondering why, well, take a look at her answer to the question: "You gotta give ’em that ‘hawk tuah’ and spit on that thing, you get me?"

She's reportedly gone on to sell thousands of dollars worth of merch and has even joined country music star Zach Bryan on stage during a gig.

And despite Welch having deleted her social media six months ago, it's not taken long for certain individuals to find a way to track her down and get their strange requests sent over to her - even via her hat maker.

In an interview with Brianna LaPaglia on Plan Bri Uncut, Welch explained the 'guy who does [her] hats' received an offer of $600 if he could get her to 'spit in a jar and sell it'.

Welch continued: "That is revolting. That is just disgusting, is it not?"

And it's not taken long for people to weigh in on the request. One TikToker said: "I’d be spitting in so many jars."

Another added: "I would. Be so rich. Every hawk tuah in a jar is 600$!"

A third commented: "Revolting? Do it! In this economy money is money."

While a fourth suggested: "So he could’ve spit on the jar easily without even asked her like how would they know it wasn’t her saliva."

And a final wrote: "So are you $600 richer or not ?"

Welch added she did briefly question whether or not she should do it - it is $600 after all - but ultimately she decided she wouldn't.

Welch also said that despite being known as the 'Hawk Tuah girl' she doesn't 'really want' that to be her 'image'.

Welch resolved: "I don't see that being my thang. I don't want to be known as that."
