Friendships are complicated things.
As we get older, it undeniably becomes more difficult to maintain numerous friendships.
Whether it's work, family life, your love life, or something else - sometimes it feels like there aren't enough hours in the day.

With this in mind, it's important that we spend our time with those who are worth it, and one TikToker has shared her advice on types of friends you should avoid.
Jordyn, who goes by @jordynsthoughts___ on the video sharing platform, shared a clip to her page in late November which has since generated a staggering 2.4 million views.
In it, she shares the five types of women she refuses to associate with.

One type is what Jordyn describes as the 'neutral friend'.
She explains that this is someone who is 'in between two people that are beefing with each other'.
"I feel like y'all are pretending to tryna' make peacemaker when really you're just fake," Jordyn went on.

"You have no loyalty because, what do you mean they didn't do anything to you personally?
"B*tch if I'm your friend, that means you care about me and you're not going to be friends with somebody who did me wrong."
She added: "If somebody does my friend wrong, it's automatically f**k them."
People have since commented on Jordyn's viral video and related to her neutral friends comments.

"'The neutral friend' is so real. Cause how are you friends with people who I told you did me wrong?" said one person.
"'The neutral friend' I was so blind by this," echoed another.
"They would invalidate your feelings after you share something vulnerable. I was confused how I felt…"

A third continued: "The neutral friend be so messy ‼️"
"The neutral friend is always the biggest red flag in friendships. How are you friends with someone that clearly hurt me??!!!"
But not everyone was in agreement.
"I’ve been the neutral friend, how am I supposed to turn on a person because of your beef? If you’re a good friend you wouldn’t make me pick I feel," someone argued.
Another added: "The neutral friend is a hit or miss. Sometimes ppl be enemies over small things that can be worked out, and that don’t have anything to do with you [sic]."
"I’m the neutral friend. I will not inherit another person’s enemy and I won’t take sides," continued someone else.
