YouTuber uses Aztec death whistle to scare people inside abandoned building and it's giving them nightmares

The eerie whistle sound isn't for the faint of heart

A YouTuber used an Aztec death whistle is a prank and shared the living daylights out of some unbeknownst kids.

If you don't know what an Aztec death whistle is, then brace yourself and the chilling noise it makes it enough to make someone's hair stand on end.

It's described as being like 'the scream of a thousand corpses' - and if that's not enough to give you the creeps, then take a listen of it:

It's a hard pass from me.

With this horrendous sound in mind, content creator who goes by 2swag on TikTok and YouTube used a version of the ancient whistle to scare some people.

Using what seemed to be an abandoned warehouse for the place to conduct the prank (arguably the perfect accommodation since the spine-tingling sound would echo), 2swag and the person behind the camera patiently waited some people to walk by.

Eventually, two people exploring the derelict area appeared and the TikToker proceeded to follow them from a distance to find the perfect opportunity to scare them.

He waited until the went down to explore a dark and eerie basement and while in the pitch black, he blew the whistle and shared the other people half to death.

Hearing the sound they scarpered as quickly as they could - just as you would if you heard 'the scream of a thousand corpses' coming from a basement.

The video has generated millions of views on social media, particularly on YouTube with the clip having been viewed by 21 million people.

And people have all been saying the same thing about the viral clip - that the two unsuspecting victims will remember the scary ordeal for the rest of their days.

"Those guys will be traumatized their whole life," wrote on person. "I bet they'll tell that story to their grandchildrens in the future."

A second said: "Dude just started a whole new urban legend right there. Those kids are gonna be hearing that sound in their nightmares for the rest of their lives."

"THOSE GUYS ARE NEVER GOING TO AN ABANDONED BUILDING AGAIN," wrote a different person.

"That's pure evil bro. I would be traumatised and never come back if I heard THAT," added another.

Meanwhile, others suggested the whistle is a great way to deter people from trespassing.

"That's actually a pretty good way to protect abandoned architecture from vandalism," someone said. "I know some urban explorers highly value their preservation."

I mean, that's one way to keep people off your property...
