Ben Affleck's new movie Air has scored an ultra rare Rotten Tomatoes rating as critics go absolutely wild for the new biographical sports drama.
Only 439 movies ever in history have achieved such a score on the film aggregator website and while that number does sound high, let's look at the stats.
iMDB claimed there were 12,602 feature films, 11,617 documentary films and 38,569 short films made in 2017.
That's 62,788 movies in total.

So, let's say those 439 movies with 100 per cent ratings were all released in the same year.
That would equal a total of 0.007 per cent of films hitting that score.
So, yeah, it's a pretty big deal, especially when those movies are across the entire history of Hollywood and filmmaking.
The movie, directed by Affleck, boasts an all-star cast of Matt Damon, Jason Bateman, Marlon Wayans, Viola Davis, and Affleck himself.

The film chronicles the origin story of the Air Jordan shoe line with a bold Nike employee trying to land a deal with then-rookie basketball player Michael Jordan.
And the critics are going bonkers over it.
Roger Friedman from Showbiz 411 said: "The movie everyone wanted this Oscar season and couldn’t find is here. Air is the first movie made by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon since we first met them in 1997’s Good Will Hunting. It’s also the first potential Best Picture nominee of the new season."

Peter Debruge from Variety said: "Casting Davis was the smartest thing Affleck could have done, as the EGOT winner is to acting what Jordan is to sports: Her strength inspires, and she can move us to tears while making it look easy."
Ryan McQuade from AwardsWatch said: "Air proves itself to be a thunderous slam dunk and an absolute winner."
But it's not just the critics going wild for this one.
People on social media are losing it over Air's perfect score on the film aggregator site.

One user said: Air movie directed by Ben Affleck has a Rotten Tomatoes score of 100 per cent and 9.1 on IMDb. WE WILL BE SEATED."
Another added: "I can’t wait to see it. Ben Affleck is such a talented director and Matt Damon is always great. Plus Viola Davis as Michael Jordan's mom? Sign me up!"

A third commented: "Ben Affleck's Nike Air Jordan movie is going to be an instant classic."
But if you're hoping to catch a glimpse of a young Michael Jordan in the 1990s nostalgia-fest, think again.
Affleck told Collider: "The one sure way to ruin the movie and have the audience understand that the whole thing is a fraud is to point the camera at anybody that’s not Michael Jordan and say, 'Hey, that’s Michael Jordan!'"
Air is set to drop in cinemas around the world in April.
