Film fans have dubbed Bullet Train one of the best movies of the year after the Brad Pitt-led film was released earlier this month.
Coming in hot off the success of Top Gun: Maverick, Bullet Train fills the action and adventure-shaped hole as it follows Pitt in the character of Ladybug, an assassin desperate to have a peaceful job after one too many disasters.
Unfortunately, he soon finds himself trapped on the world's fastest train with a number of passengers who want a lot more than an uninterrupted internet connection and a satisfying snack.

The film is directed by David Leitch, who also brought us Deadpool 2, and sees Ladybug finding himself up against it when lethal adversaries from around the globe end up joining him on the train, all with connecting objectives.

Viewers helped the film rack up $30.1 million on its opening weekend and has since secured a 10-day domestic total of $54.2 million, with many fans flooding social media with praise for the movie.
After heading to the cinema to see Pitt in action, one fan wrote: "Bullet Train ROCKS HARD! This movie was well written movie with great actions balancing a big cast so beautifully. Round of applause to everyone that worked on this movie. Was on the edge of my seat! This movie has the best third act that I have ever seen this year so far. 9/10."
Another tweeted: "Bullet Train was amazing, one of the best movies in the year, awesome characters too. Brad Pitt was phenomenal."
Further praise reads: "One of the best action movies I've ever seen! The story is excellent, the characters are fantastic, the music is on another level, the action scenes are very well done and the scenery is beautiful. #BulletTrainMovie is fabulous!"

Despite praise from fans on Twitter, the film has received less positive reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, where it has received a middling score of 53 percent on the Tomatometer. Critic Tom Meek said the film was 'a fun ride to be sure', but added: "[It is] an uneven one that nearly squanders such a talented ensemble."
Thankfully, its audience score is slightly more reassuring at 77 percent, so it seems most people agree it's a film worth seeing!
