There are three things that always pair well together – Bruce Willis, action, and Christmas.
Ever since the Hollywood star faced '40 stories of sheer adventure' in 1988’s Christmas classic Die Hard, fans have watched Willis as John McClane ever since.
Now, Willis, 67, will be back on screens in Detective Knight: Redemption, the Christmas-themed sequel to Detective Knight: Rogue.
The trailer teases the second tale in what is set to be a trilogy of adventures featuring Detective Knight (Willis).

According to the official synopsis released by Lionsgate, Detective Knight: Redemption follows the story of ‘a jailbreak led by The Christmas Bomber, a brutal fanatic whose Santa Claus disciples are terrorising the city’. Detective Knight ‘strikes a deal to take out the terrorists in exchange for his reinstatement.’
Detective Knight: Redemption takes place immediately after the events of the first film, which was only released back in October.
Detective Knight: Rogue concludes with the titular detective chasing a group of bank robbers.

When faced with the heinous person behind the bank robberies that have terrorised Los Angeles, Knight shoots the man and is arrested for murder soon after.
Edward John Drake directed the film, from a screenplay written by Drake and Corey Large and produced by Large, Randall Emmett and George Furla.
Willis stars alongside Paul Johansson, Corey Large, Beau Mirchoff and Lochlyn Munro.
Detective Knight: Redemption is the latest in a long list of direct-to-streaming films released starring Willis.

Many of the films released in Willis’ latest films have been poorly received, with the Razzies (AKA the Golden Raspberry Awards) creating a category especially for the Looper actor.
However, earlier this year the parody award show rescinded the Bruce Willis category and his award following news of his aphasia diagnosis.
Organisers created a category specifically for the actor, called 'The Worst Performance by Bruce Willis in a 2021 Movie'.
It was created in reference to the eight films the Armageddon star had starred in over the past year, with Cosmic Sin taking home the prize.

Back in March, it was revealed that the actor had been diagnosed with the condition, which has impacted his cognitive abilities. According to the Mayo Clinic, aphasia is a condition that impact a person's ability to speak and understand language, both verbal and written.
Willis’ daughter Rumer confirmed her father was stepping away from his acting career as a result.
“To Bruce’s amazing supporters, as a family we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities,” the statement said.
